Message from the President and CEO

Since Uchimura Co., Ltd. was founded in 1939 as an industrial rubber products specialty wholesaler, we have continued growing steadily by adopting one part of our corporate philosophy, "Making a company that can precisely provide for the needs of our customers", as our primary corporate strategy.

From the point of view precisely providing for the needs of our customers, we have departed from a position of just being a specialized trading company, and we have gone on to establish a high pressure hose fittings manufacturing and assembly company to equip ourselves with manufacturing abilities. As our customers continue to expand globally, our fundamental policy has been to actively expand our company overseas as well to meet the demands of our customers regarding procurement and provision in overseas regions.
We currently have nine sites in seven countries, and we are moving to consider further expansion.

We have also worked to enhance our engineering department and enter many new fields.
We have created numerous unique, Uchimura-developed technologies, and we are further investing in and working to strengthen these fields.
We feel that the role and mission of Uchimura Co., Ltd. is to not only function as a mere trading company, but to meet the demands of our customers from the standpoints of engineering and manufacturing as well.
We will continue working now and in the future based on this fundamental policy.
