Basic Sustainability Policy

Our company has established the following basic sustainability policy. Our group, both in Japan and overseas, prioritizes "responding accurately to customer needs" and provides high-quality products and services that adapt to changes in the business environment.
We explore the needs of society and our customers from a global perspective, striving to solve the challenges they face and enhance customer satisfaction.
At the same time, we aim to become a 100-year company group that continues to grow in the global market through sustainable organizational management that considers employee self-fulfillment, safety, health, diversity, and job satisfaction, as well as through social contributions.

As part of this, our group considers sustainability initiatives to be the most important management issue under the above corporate philosophy. We have identified materiality (key issues) that are highly important to both our stakeholders and our business. We will promote business activities that focus on the following perspectives and work towards contributing to the sustainable development of society and the planet.

Society

  • (1) Realizing a Safe and Rewarding Workplace
    We will establish a system for occupational safety and health and create a safe and healthy work environment. We will also emphasize communication with employees to improve engagement.
  • (2) Respect for Human Rights, Promotion of Diversity & Inclusion
    We will establish a human rights policy, respect the human rights of all employees, and eliminate discrimination and harassment. We will encourage diversity and inclusion and provide equal opportunities.
  • (3) Human Resource Development and Training
    We will establish fair and transparent criteria for personnel processes such as recruitment, promotion, and compensation. We will develop plans to enhance employee performance and support skill improvement and career development.
  • (4) Promotion of Digital Transformation (DX)
    We will promote the use of DX to support data analysis for decision-making, provide data to customers, and improve operational efficiency.
  • (5) Contribution to Local Communities
    We will emphasize coexistence with the communities where we conduct business activities and aim to build trust by practicing social responsibility.

Environment

We will establish an environmental policy and work on decarbonization and reducing environmental impact.

  • (1) Product Safety and Quality
    We will comply with laws and regulations related to product safety and chemical substance management and establish an internal management system.
  • (2) CO2 Emissions Reduction
    We will build an environmental management system and promote the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, energy conservation, and the use of renewable energy through our business activities.

Governance

  • (1) Compliance
    We will establish a system to ensure compliance under the leadership of top management, conduct business activities in compliance with laws and business rules in the countries and regions where we operate, and strive to respect international standards.
  • (2) Information Security
    We will establish an information security policy, protect information assets, and handle customer and stakeholder information with care. We will build an information security governance system.
  • (3) Risk Management
    We will regularly identify, evaluate, and analyze risks associated with our business, build and implement effective preventive and countermeasures.
  • (4) Supply Chain Management
    We recognize the importance of ESG responses throughout the supply chain. We will disclose our response information to business partners and work on building partnerships. We will also engage in BCP-conscious initiatives.

Environmental Policy

1. Basic Philosophy

Our group aims to coexist with the global environment by being a company that "can accurately meet customer needs," "is trusted by society," and "where employees can work with pride." In line with this corporate philosophy, we will actively engage all employees in environmental issues, starting with the acquisition of Eco-Stage, and continuously improve to fulfill our social contribution as a company.

2. Basic Policy

  • (1) Considering the impact of our business activities, office activities, products, and services on the environment, we will implement the following environmental management activities:
    • ① Understanding and reducing CO2 emissions
    • ② Promoting energy and resource conservation
    • ③ Reducing logistics costs
    • ④ Reducing quality defects
    • ⑤ Improving work efficiency
  • (2) We will set environmental objectives, targets, and action plans, review their appropriateness annually, and continuously improve the environmental management system to prevent pollution.
  • (3) We will comply with environmental laws, agreements, and other requirements.
  • (4) We will promote environmental education to ensure that everyone working for our company understands the environmental management activity policy and can engage in activities in line with this policy.
  • (5) This environmental policy will be communicated to all employees to ensure it is implemented and maintained. It will also be disclosed upon external request.

Human Rights Policy

1. Background

Our group has established a basic policy of sincerely addressing all matters related to sustainability through our business activities and treating them as the most important management issue. Among these, we believe that respecting human rights, encouraging diversity and inclusion, and providing equal opportunities to everyone are particularly important. Therefore, we have decided to announce and apply this human rights policy across our entire group. This policy may be revised in response to changes in business activities or external business environment demands from stakeholders.

2. Scope of Application

This policy applies to all employees of our group (including contract and temporary employees), as well as business partners and other stakeholders.

4. To All Employees of Our Group

Our group respects each other, recognizes diverse values, and respects the fundamental human rights of all group employees without discrimination or human rights violations.
We pay attention to equal opportunities in employment and the development of a proper workplace environment. We do not tolerate discrimination based on race, religion, age, gender, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any form of harassment such as sexual harassment or power harassment, nor do we tolerate modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labor, or child labor. Our group supports freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining. We also have established consultation services for harassment and human rights issues, pursuing a healthy, safe, and open workplace environment free from unfair discrimination and harassment. Additionally, we regularly conduct training and awareness surveys to continue raising awareness about human rights among each employee.

5. To Our Business Partners

Our group expects fair ethical standards from our business partners as well. If any incidents of suspected human rights violations are identified, our group will work with the business partners to correct the human rights violations.

6. Improvement and Remedy

Our group has established an "internal reporting hotline" that ensures the anonymity of whistleblowers, allowing them to directly consult with designated recipients, including external lawyers. We are committed to appropriately addressing and remedying negative impacts on human rights.

7. Open Communication

Our group continuously engages in dialogue with experts, such as lawyers, to ensure that no human rights violations occur through our business activities, and we receive their advice.

Basic Information Security Policy

Our group has established this Basic Information Security Policy to maintain high levels of information security in our business activities, ensure customer trust, and solidify our position as an industrial parts trading company. This policy serves as a practical guideline, and all employees and stakeholders will work together to protect and enhance information security.

Management Responsibility

Our group recognizes the importance of information security at the management level and leads efforts to raise security awareness and implement protective measures throughout the organization. Through regular policy reviews, we ensure the continuous improvement of our information security management system.

Organizational Efforts

We have established a specialized information security organization (DX Promotion Strategy Office) and ensure that all employees are responsible for protecting information assets and engaging in continuous activities. We apply information security standards to our domestic and overseas subsidiaries, promoting a consistent security policy.

Education and Awareness Enhancement

We conduct regular information security education and training for all employees to enhance security awareness. We share information on the latest threats and countermeasures related to information security to raise risk awareness.

Compliance with Laws and Customer Trust

We comply with laws, regulations, industry standards, and customer contract requirements related to information security. We maintain and enhance customer trust by strictly managing and protecting customer information. We particularly focus on managing information related to product safety and quality, ensuring its accuracy and currency.

Incident Response

In the event of an information security incident, we respond promptly and appropriately to minimize damage and resolve the situation. After an incident occurs, we conduct a cause analysis and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Supply Chain Security

We strengthen the management of information security risks throughout the supply chain and ensure that our business partners comply with security standards. We focus on preventing leaks of highly confidential information assets such as customer information, technical drawings, and design information, ensuring secure information sharing among relevant business partners.
